Can I license a web font in SVG format?

If you have a Digital License the SVG web font format is available upon request via info@fontsmith.com

Simply send us an email with your license information (organisation name and order reference number) and we can supply the format for the font weights that you have licensed.

The SVG font files are not available for download. All modern browsers now support the WOFF and EOT font formats which are far smaller in file size and thus more efficient and practical to implement.

For confirmation please see:
WOFF: http://caniuse.com/#feat=woff
EOT: http://caniuse.com/#feat=eot
SVG: http://caniuse.com/#feat=svg-fonts

There really is no need to use SVG font files today with strong support for WOFF and EOT offered across all digital platforms.

However, we do still recognise that some font users or developers may prefer SVG and as such we are happy to provide this format on a request basis only.
