Our recommendation for mail software has always been that you should use a default system font. Using bespoke or specific typefaces is generally considered to be an unpredictable thing to do. This is because you cannot guarantee the appearance of your email on the recipients computer. Every mail client handles these things differently, some require the original font files to be present on their system and the recipient may have specific system settings that can affect mail appearance, for instance - accessibility settings. Please use a default system font for e-mail.
